Pineapple Kale Smoothie and More!

So I love juicing and making smoothies. I believe juicing and smoothies are healthy quick meals which allows you to have a variety of fruits and vegetables a day as well as get the proper nutrients that cooking may remove. This coming weekend I will be starting a two week raw food eating/detox plan; me along with some other friends. I will keep up with the meals that I prepare as well as the smoothies and juicing recipes. However, since I started making smoothies on a daily basis and have been doing it for a while now, I have completely fell in love with a smoothie that consist of pineapples, kale, dates, bananas, coconut water, and vanilla protein powder. It is a absolutely delicious. One thing I like about this smoothie is you can substitute spinach in place of kale and almond milk (I prefer the unsweetened kind) in place of coconut water. Coconut milk is good too. You can make it your own. The color may turn you off but I guarantee you that it is good.

So you will need:

4 cups of fresh or frozen pineapples
3 cups of coconut water (coconut milk and almond milk taste good with it as well)
2 cups of ice
1 cup of kale or spinach
1 banana
1/2 cup of dates (sometimes I leave the dates out)
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I use the vegan kind)
