fruity coconut smoothie

Okay so this is my third day of the raw food challenge. I must admit it has been challenging and doing smoothies all the time is not cutting it. I do eat nuts in between but I miss cooked food. However, I have two recipes for you. One I will call Fruity Coconut Smoothie and another is a Cabbage salad.

Now I love smoothies and I love anything with pineapples in it so this I had to try and it is good. This smoothie recipe filled up the jar you see in the above picture with some left over.

So for this smoothie you will need:

1 1/2 cups of coconut water (I use this in place of water a lot when I make my smoothies)
2 cups of pineapple (I used the can this morning) Other times, I will use fresh pineapple
2 bananas
1 orange

Take all of these ingredients and mix together!


Now this recipe I found on the iApparel page. Make sure you check them out! I must tell you it is sooo good and easy to make. Yeah we know some people like to shred their cabbage but I used the 3 cole slaw bag of cabbage with cabbage, red cabbage and carrots. The original recipe called for:

Bell pepper
Green onions
Fresh lemon juice
Black pepper

Sea salt

Olive Oil

Now I didn’t have everything so I had to add my own spin to it.  You can add more and make it your own but this was something quick I did this morning! It’s delicious.

I used:
3 Cabbage Cole Slaw Mix (I used a half of bag)
Olive Oil
A half lemon
Garlic and Herb Seasoning
Dried Chives
Dried onions
