It’s hot, hot, hot and humid outside on this sunny day. Most of the state of Maryland is under a code Orange Air Quality Alert today. The temperatures remain high in the region and the air quality is dangerous for the vulnerable population. The alert has been issued for Tuesday and Wednesday in the Baltimore metro areas and included the Eastern Shore on Tuesday.
Code Orange Air Quality Alert means that the air pollution concentration within the region may become unhealthy for sensitive groups. These groups include the elderly, children and people suffering from asthma, heart disease or other lung diseases.
