So I was curious when a friend of mines shared with me an article about overnight oats. What is overnight oats? Overnight oats is simply oatmeal that is soaked in the liquids you put in them. So what I did was soaked my oats and topped it with fruit and cinnamon the next day.
1/3 to a cup of oatmeal
About a 1/2 cup of coconut almond milk or almond milk
A teaspoon of cinnamon or to your liking.
Half a banana and half an apple.
Note you can add other fruits, some even add yogurt, and add raisins. I did take the chill off of it by putting it in the microwave for 40 seconds. Also note that I prefer to add the fruit the next day when the oats finish soaking.
