Regulations for medical marijuana may finally be voted on in Maryland. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday in Annapolis. The commission added marijuana extracts to the regulations. This will allow the patients to ingest marijuana without smoking. The purpose is to make marijuana available to the sick. However, it has not been an easy thing to do here in Maryland. The law was passed in 2013. 15 licensed marijuana growers have been authorized by lawmakers in Maryland this year. A new law passed this year will allow recommendations from certified doctors to patients with debilitating, severe, and chronic illnesses. The voting was delayed last month to take a look at fees for marijuana growers, dispensers and patients.
