Women do not be afraid of a little muscles when embarking on a weightloss journey. When taking on the task of weightloss look at it as a permanent lifestyle change and not a quick fix. Studies shows that incorporating strength training will help develop strong bones, accelerate weightloss, control your weight, reduce the risk of injury, boost your stamina, manage chronic conditions, and make you look youthful! Strength training can be done with your own body weight as resistance, resistance tubing, free weights, and weight machines. Also, add in some cardio atleast twice a week or mix it up. Join a local gym, see if some community centers are offering classes or work out in the comfort of your own home. Some local libraries give access to free work out DVD’s or videos if you are a member. Incorporate this with well balanced meals, determination and you will be on your way to a new you.~Eshet
