Honestly I don’t know why people even smoke cigarettes. No, I am not judging but when you see the warning label, one would think some would stop doing so or not even start for that matter. Not to mention the price of cigarettes these days is really expensive. Now the FDA warns 3 cigarette companies over claims on cigarette labels stating they are “additive-free and natural.” A warning letter was issued to ITG Brands LLC, Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company Inc. and Sherman’s 1400 Broadway N.Y.C. Ltd; Winston cigarettes, Natural American Spirit cigarettes and Nat Sherman cigarettes.
The FDA wants to make sure that the tobacco products are not being marketed in a way that it makes consumers believe cigarettes with those descriptors are additive-free and natural have fewer health risk. These companies have 15 working days to respond to the warning letter.
